Fiscal\u00eda General pidi\u00f3 que se emita prisi\u00f3n preventiva en contra el alcalde Jorge Yunda, investigado por el presunto delito de peculado en la compra de pruebas covid-19.<\/div>\n

Esta decisi\u00f3n debe ser resulta por el juez que lleva el caso. Ayer, la Fiscal\u00eda emiti\u00f3 su dictamen acusatorio en contra de Yunda. El fiscal Alberto Santill\u00e1n present\u00f3 los elementos recabados hasta el momento.<\/div>\n

1. Contrato de emergencia para la adquisici\u00f3n de reactivos para la determinaci\u00f3n de covid-19 por PCR-polimerasa, suscrito el 16 de abril del 2020.<\/div>\n

2. Pago de anticipo del 70% por USD 2 641 800 ordenados desde el Municipio de Quito.<\/div>\n

3. Partida presupuestaria por USD 4 226 880 (incluido IVA) para la compra.<\/div>\n

4. Terminaci\u00f3n del contrato por mutuo acuerdo (13 de julio del 2020) con la empresa contratante.<\/div>\n

La Fiscal\u00eda dice que pidi\u00f3 prisi\u00f3n preventiva contra Yunda porque habr\u00eda otras investigaciones que involucrar\u00edan directamente al burgomaestre y otros familiares.<\/div>\n
