La Ley Org\u00e1nica para la Atenci\u00f3n Integral del C\u00e1ncer fue aprobada en Ecuador, estableciendo por primera vez un marco legal integral y permanente para la prevenci\u00f3n, detecci\u00f3n temprana, diagn\u00f3stico, tratamiento, rehabilitaci\u00f3n y cuidados paliativos de esta enfermedad, bajo la rector\u00eda del Estado y el Sistema Nacional de Salud.<\/p>\n
La iniciativa fue propuesta en 2025 por el asamble\u00edsta lojano Jorge Luis Guevara, y la moci\u00f3n para su aprobaci\u00f3n fue presentada por la asamble\u00edsta Annabella Azin Arce. La ley representa un hito hist\u00f3rico, al garantizar atenci\u00f3n digna, humana y sin discriminaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como derechos para pacientes y sobrevivientes.<\/p>\n
