El Ej\u00e9rcito Ecuatoriano ejecut\u00f3 una operaci\u00f3n de control y seguridad en apoyo a la ARCOM en el sector fronterizo de la provincia de Loja, espec\u00edficamente en el eje Zapotillo\u2013Macar\u00e1, con el objetivo de combatir la miner\u00eda ilegal.
