Mediante un reciente documento emitido desde el MTOP, expresa que la v\u00eda Loja-Cuenca hasta el redondel (Carig\u00e1n) de la v\u00eda de integraci\u00f3n barrial, ya no es competencia del Ministerio de Transporte, sino del Municipio de Loja desde el mes de noviembre 2023 en la administraci\u00f3n del Alcalde Franco Quezada. Ahora, los diferentes tramos con da\u00f1os de barrios aleda\u00f1os, como: Las Pitas, Consacola, San Jos\u00e9 y Carig\u00e1n sur, ahora se deber\u00e1 arreglar con los recursos municipales.
