Su salud se deterior\u00f3 en cuesti\u00f3n de d\u00edas por lo que siempre fue considerado como un paciente vulnerable por su edad y la diabetes que padeci\u00f3 por varios a\u00f1os.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El cantautor fue hospitalizado porque present\u00f3 fuertes s\u00edntomas por el contagio de coronavirus el pasado 15 de diciembre de 2020 seg\u00fan inform\u00f3 la Sociedad de Autores y Compositores de M\u00e9xico. Posterior a ello se resguard\u00f3 en su casa donde le dieron todos los cuidados necesarios cumpliendo con las normas de bioseguridad.
